The Retail Associate will assist customers by providing knowledgeable, customer-focused service, including greeting shoppers, offering product recommendations, and supporting styling needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing transactions, handling returns and exchanges, maintaining visual standards, and ensuring the sales floor and fitting rooms are clean and organized. The role also involves inventory-related tasks such as restocking, tagging, and participating in inventory counts. Retail Associates collaborate with team members to meet store goals, uphold brand standards, and create an engaging in-store experience.Qualifications Strong customer-facing abilities, including Customer-focused Service and Customer Experience skills.Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills to engage with customers and work collaboratively with team members.Basic Inventory Management skills, including restocking, organizing merchandise, and assisting with inventory counts.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.Comfort working on feet for extended periods and handling light physical tasks such as lifting, folding, and moving merchandise.Commitment to an inclusive, respectful workplace and alignment with Banana Republic’s brand values and community focus.
