Restroom Staff
Job Description
Perform manual, skilled, and unskilled labor in the cleaning, maintenance and repair of grounds and facilities at and around City parks/facilities and on or adjacent to public rights-of-way. Performs general construction, maintenance, and repairs to a wide array of City buildings and infrastructure.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs general park & maintenance facility restroom cleaning, including: opening and lock-up of facilities, dumping of trash cans, cleaning of toilets, urinals, mirrors and floors.
- Provides assistance as needed to other work crews, such as hand mowing.
- Reports assigned job completion status to supervisor on a daily basis.
Acceptable Experience, Training, Licenses And/Or Certifications
- Applicant must be 16 years of age or older;
- A high school diploma or GED preferred;
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience may be required;
- Specialized certifications, construction and/or supervisory experience may be required;
- An Idaho Driver’s license is required.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Hand/finger dexterity to handle materials, manipulate tools, and reach with hands and arms.
- Operation of job-related equipment and driving a vehicle.
- Lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds with assistance.
