Restorative Nurse Aide

About the role

NHC Fort Oglethorpe is seeking a Restorative Nurse Aide to provide restorative programs to their patients. The primary responsibilities include assisting patients with range of motion, ambulation, walk to dine program, toileting program, transfers and bed mobility, and facilitating transitions between therapy and nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with range of motion
• Assist patients with ambulation
• Facilitate the walk to dine program
• Implement toileting programs
• Perform transfers and assist with bed mobility
• Serve as a facilitator for transitioning patients between therapy and nursing

Requirements

• Dependable and compassionate professional with a heart for the geriatric population
• Prior restorative experience preferred

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be able to follow oral and written instructions, chart accurately in the Patient Care Record, and maintain a pleasant and cheerful personality.
