Restorative Nurse Aide

About the role

NHC Fort Oglethorpe is seeking a Restorative Nurse Aide to provide restorative programs to their patients. Duties include assisting with range of motion, ambulation, walk to dine program, toileting program, transfers, and bed mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with range of motion
• Assist patients with ambulation
• Facilitate the Walk to Dine Program
• Assist with toileting program
• Perform transfers and bed mobility
• Serve as a facilitator to transition patients between therapy and nursing

Requirements

• Dependable and compassionate professional with a heart for the geriatric population
• Prior restorative experience preferred

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be able to follow oral and written instructions, chart accurately in the Patient Care Record, and maintain a pleasant and cheerful personality.
