Restaurant Manager - Café Boulud

Café Boulud is inspired by Daniel Boulud’s four culinary muses: la tradition, classic French cuisine; la saison, seasonal delicacies; le potager, the vegetable garden; and le voyage, flavors of world cuisine. Having earned three stars in the New York Times as well as a star in the Michelin Guide, Café Boulud is both a destination and a neighborhood gem for casually elegant dining seasonal wine tasting dinners, Sunday brunch and intimate, private events. While reporting to Regional General Manager, the Restaurant Manager will support service in all areas of the restaurant, including the dining room, lounge and the bar. The Restaurant Manager oversees the front of house hourly team members, ensuring the restaurant standards, policies and procedures are met. Responsibilities but not limited to:Perform proper execution of opening and closing procedures, pre and post service dutiesAssists general manager with premeal meetingsMonitor service to guests in all areas of the restaurantEnsure team members' adherence to service standardsCommunicate with kitchen to update them of service issues (i.e., pace of service, VIP tables)Review reservation sheet and seating plan and react to any special requests or VIPsSustain guest relations Menus updates and descriptionsInspect dining room before serviceMaintain supply pars in including linen, china, glass and silverware.
