About the role
At HonorHealth, you’ll join a nonprofit healthcare system rooted in warmth and neighborly kindness since 1927. As Manager-Business Operations, you act as an adjunct leader and coordinator, driving strategic and operational initiatives that enhance care delivery across the greater Phoenix area.
Responsibilities
- Implement identified strategic and operational initiatives.
- Act as subject-matter expert for quality, cost, utilization projects, and regulatory standards.
- Engage with key stakeholders, participate in meetings, and serve as the point of contact to foster collaborative relationships.
- Coordinate planning, design, and execution of initiatives and projects identified by senior leadership.
- Facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.
- Lead effective communication around projects for stakeholders, including physicians and executive leaders.
- Facilitate subgroups and leadership meetings.
- Partner with stakeholders to execute projects, ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives, service line priorities, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Design, implement, and manage workflows; drive agendas to meet internal and external communication needs.
- Drive value through collaborative engagement with stakeholders (e.g., leadership teams, providers, operational leaders, Informatics, IT, Quality, and Safety).
- Execute projects using industry-leading program management standards and EPMO policies.
- Monitor program performance, communicate deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Mentor and educate team members to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Apply broad knowledge of operational processes and clinical workflows to forecast initiative impact and ensure sustainability.
- Serve as the key point of contact for all projects, working independently in a rapidly changing environment.
- Act as a key member of collaborative and network leadership teams.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or 4 years of equivalent relevant industry experience (required).
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 4 years of experience working with multi-disciplinary teams supporting operational processes and/or workflows (required).
Skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Lean Six Sigma Certification, or Clinical Informatics Certification (preferred).
