Responsibilities
- Greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
- Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant reservation system.
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
- Cooking and serving food and beverages (if applicable).
- Cooking and serving food and beverages (if applicable).
- Cooking and serving food and beverages (if applicable).
- Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff regarding guest needs and table status.
- Answer restaurant phone calls and assist guests with inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entrance area.
- Assist with special events, large parties, and guest accommodations.
- Provide exceptional service consistent with South Coast Winery Resort & Spa standards.
Requirements
- Previous host, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Able to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
