Restaurant Host - Hostess

Responsibilities

• Greet restaurant patrons with a positive friendly attitude.
• Assign wait staff to service patrons where seated.
• Answer the phone, greet customers, and keep track of seat availability in the restaurant.
• Assist wait staff.
• Responsible for assisting with bussing and resetting tables.
• Responsible for cleaning host area, stairway, and entrance to the restaurant.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of concession stand operations.
• Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations in an interruptive environment.
• Must be able to stand for 6-8 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One-year restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.
