About the role

Join our remarkable team at Inland Respite, Inc. as a Respite Care Provider. You will have the chance to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Essential Duties

Ensure safety and provide companionship to someone with a disability. Duties include daily activities such as feeding, dressing, toileting assistance, daily routines, and engaging in age-appropriate activities for the client.

Required Qualifications

- Possession of a valid Driver’s License or State-Issued ID - Valid auto insurance coverage - Current CPR and First Aid certification (Infants, Children, and Adults) - Current negative Tuberculosis (TB) test - Ability to successfully pass a background check - Reliable transportation - Must be 18 years of age or older - Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (bilingual preferred) - Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior caregiving experience - Experience working with, or exposure to, individuals with disabilities - Willingness to assist with personal care needs, including toileting assistance

Schedule

- Day Shift - Evening Shift - Mon-Fri, Weekends

Pay

Starting rate of $19.35
