Respiratory Therapist - Weekender Night

About the Role

Provides respiratory care utilizing critical thinking skills as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), demonstrating expertise through NBRC certification. Assesses patients, develops, implements, and evaluates care plans, administers medications, and provides health education to patients and families. Acts as a clinical resource, offers clinical leadership, and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver quality care. Supports ongoing learning and completes assigned goals.

Requirements

• Current state license and RRT credential in accordance with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Recent clinical respiratory care experience, including hospital, home care, or skilled nursing.
• Basic computer literacy with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientation.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate, and provide clinical leadership.
