About the role
Deliver advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform ventilator management and airway management
- Conduct arterial blood gas analysis
- Provide patient education
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and deliver quality, safe care
- Assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostics
- Promote a team-oriented environment
- Ensure accurate documentation
- Support performance improvement initiatives
- Mentor new staff and students
- Participate in education initiatives
- Adhere to policies and safety standards
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program with at least 20 quarter hours of science
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required
Qualifications
- Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- 0–2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care
Skills
- Excellent communication and critical thinking
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
