Respiratory Therapist - PRN Night

About the role

Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) responsible for delivering comprehensive cardiopulmonary care in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders
• Administer therapies, medications, and manage oxygen and airway support
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor treatment response and adjust as needed
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety standards
• Support emergency respiratory interventions when required

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• CRT or RRT credential through NBRC
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program

• Experience in acute or critical care settings
• Strong communication abilities
• Patient education abilities
