Respiratory Therapist - PRN Night

Role: Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) responsible for delivering comprehensive respiratory care in an acute care hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory disordersAdminister treatments, therapies, and medications per physician ordersManage oxygen therapy and airway support interventionsCollaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomesMonitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordinglyEducate patients and families on respiratory conditions and equipmentMaintain accurate documentation and ensure safety standardsSupport emergency respiratory interventions as needed Qualifications & Skills Current Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner LicenseCRT or RRT credential from the NBRCCurrent BLS/CPR CertificationGraduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy ProgramPreferred: experience in acute care, ICU, emergency, or critical care settingsStrong communication and patient education skills Ideal Candidate: Passionate about patient care, collaborative team player, capable of emergency response, and committed to safety and regulatory standards.
