Respiratory Therapist II (RRT)

Responsibilities

• Act as a patient advocate and prioritize care based on patient acuity
• Administer and evaluate medication therapies
• Perform patient transfers
• Deliver routine and advanced respiratory treatments, including ABGs and bronchial hygiene
• Manage critical care duties, including ventilator management and airway management
• Interpret blood gases and follow emergency response protocols

Requirements

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy (bachelor's degree preferred)
• Current state Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure
• Ability to practice independently within regulatory standards
