Respiratory Therapist- GIG/Flex/Per Diem/PRN - Springfield

About the Role

Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on the effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned.

Position Details

Flexible, incentivized Respiratory Therapist (RT) positions available at Mercy Hospital Springfield, Joplin, and surrounding communities. Choose day or night shifts with no weekend, holiday, or shift requirements. Work 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts based on your preference.

• Base pay: $35/hr for RRT, $30/hr for CRT
• Variable shift incentives
• W-2 employee status

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license meeting state requirements
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• One year of experience (excluding orientation)
• For Emergency Room roles: PALS and ACLS certifications required
• Physical demands: Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally

Preferred: Critical care experience.
