Respiratory Therapist - GIG/Flex/Per Diem/PRN

About the Role

Performs direct patient care in respiratory therapy, following physician's orders, and consults on therapy effectiveness. Acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care. Responsible for additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care
• Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness
• Utilize various respiratory devices
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements

• Graduate of CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
• Current RCP license
• NBRC credential (RRT or CRT)
• PALS required for ER staff; ACLS also required
• Minimum of one year of experience, excluding orientation
• Physical ability to handle respiratory equipment and perform physical tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical care experience is advantageous
