Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Night Float

Role: Provide comprehensive respiratory care to in-patients and out-patients across all ages, including oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, ventilation support, and patient education. Responsibilities: Perform therapeutic procedures, monitor and wean oxygen and ventilation, analyze arterial blood gases, assist with airway management, document clinical information, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Qualifications: Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy (Bachelor’s preferred), at least 2 years of experience, and current state licensure. Certifications include NBRC credentials, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, effective communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to adapt interactions based on patient populations. Key Duties: Conduct routine and advanced therapies, review and document patient data, educate patients and healthcare teams, perform diagnostic procedures, and maintain knowledge of relevant laws and standards.
