Respiratory Therapist - Certified

About the Role

Provides expert respiratory care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient treatment plans. Demonstrates clinical skills by earning the CRT credential and maintaining current licensure. Ensures patient safety and promotes healing through compassionate care and health education.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop individualized care plans
• Administer prescribed medications and therapies
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about health management
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
• Provide clinical leadership and support continuous learning
• Complete assigned goals and participate in quality improvement activities

Requirements

• Current state license and CRT credential
• Recent clinical respiratory care experience
• Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientation
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office)
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred
