About the Role

Provides respiratory care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans, utilizing critical thinking skills and clinical expertise. Administers medications, offers health education to patients and families, and collaborates with healthcare teams to enhance care delivery. Provides clinical leadership and supports ongoing learning to improve healthcare outcomes. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current state license and Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential in accordance with the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Recent clinical respiratory care experience in hospital, home care, or skilled nursing settings.
• Successful completion of hospital and departmental orientation.
• Basic computer skills in Windows and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ABG endorsement preferred.
• ACLS certification is desirable.
