Respiratory Care Student

About the Role

This position offers hands-on experience in respiratory therapy, working alongside RRTs and patients while enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments under supervision.
• Assess patient responses and monitor conditions.
• Record and communicate patient status.
• Provide patient education on diseases, medications, and treatments.
• Respond to medical emergencies and rapid response situations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Respiratory Therapy program, second semester or higher.
• Education permit for student license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Respiratory Educ Permit required.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Physical ability for standing, walking, lifting, and other movements, with sensory acuity for vision, hearing, and smell.
