Responsibilities
- Provide evaluation and care for respiratory therapy patients within student scope
- Administer medications and treatments under supervision
- Assess patient responses
- Monitor and document patient conditions
- Educate patients on diseases, medications, and treatments
- May respond to medical emergencies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Respiratory Therapy program
- No prior experience required
- Must hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Relevant state-specific respiratory permits or acknowledgments
