Stryten Energy is seeking a Respiratory Clerk in their Manchester, IA location.

Clean, sanitize and maintain respirators and air helmets on a daily basis.
Order new equipment and replace parts as needed.
Order miscellaneous janitorial supplies as needed.
Manage towel room and assist part-time janitor as needed.
Perform other work as assigned by Health & Safety Manager or Health & Safety Supervisor.

Must be able to lift and handle up to 25 lbs.
Requires frequent standing with periodic turning and bending required.
Must be able to understand and communicate in simple English to receive training instruction and perform team responsibilities.
Must be able to effectively clean, sanitize and maintain respirators and air helmets on a daily basis.
Must have organizational skills to enable effective ordering of new respirator equipment and replacement parts as needed and to order miscellaneous janitorial supplies as needed.
Will be required to manage towel room and assist, or fill in, for janitorial duties as needed.
Must be able to work safely and comply with safety and health regulations for the protection of self and fellow workers.
Must adhere to plant policies and procedures depicted in the employee handbook as well as conform to accepted general practices and conduct.
Must understand safe work procedures and safety equipment.
Must wear personal protective equipment including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses with side shields or goggles, latex gloves, hearing protection, and respirator if required by LIA or blood lead list.
Must maintain clean work area.
May perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to read, write and perform simple math (add, subtract, multiply, divide, average etc.).

Starting pay rate $19.86.
