About the role
We are seeking a Resource Development & Marketing Coordinator to support our mission of building thriving communities through quality housing and neighborhood investment. This role involves fostering trust with supporters and partners, and working closely with various teams to enhance our programs and communications.
Responsibilities
- Aid in event planning and execution, including timeline creation, vendor management, invoicing, and more.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce for donor engagement, grant management, and event planning.
- Create and send templated communications such as acknowledgment letters, thank you letters, reports, and appeals.
- Compile reports and packets for donor engagement.
- Maintain grant deadline reminders and communicate with the team as needed to ensure deadlines are met.
- Support program teams with planning and executing customer engagement events.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to improve engagement and reach through analysis of social metrics and best practices.
- Generate original content for digital and print collateral, including flyers, brochures, and graphics.
- Draft and publish website, email, and social media marketing content.
- Table at community events to support program marketing, volunteer recruitment, and awareness building.
- Assist with interviewing customers and curating testimonial quotes for marketing materials.
- Update website content via WordPress.
- Prepare and send mass mailings using Mailchimp.
- Help produce branded assets like signage, merchandise, brochures, etc.
- Apply and maintain the brand voice and guidelines across all content.
- Attend board meetings and assist with corporate record-keeping as needed.
- Schedule meetings and events on behalf of the Executive Director.
- Support the Executive Director with note-taking, correspondence, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in event planning and management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and best practices.
- Basic graphic design skills.
- Experience with content creation and marketing campaigns.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
