About the role

The Development & Marketing Coordinator supports fundraising, donor relations, grantwriting, and promotional efforts for The Premiere Playhouse, a nonprofit educational community theatre organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with donor communications
  • Prepare fundraising materials
  • Maintain donor and sponsor records
  • Grant administration
  • Help coordinate campaigns and appeals
  • Plan and support special events, including opening nights, donor receptions, and community outreach activities
  • Ensure event logistics run smoothly
  • Create marketing content for digital and print platforms
  • Update the website and social media
  • Collaborate with the team to execute marketing plans

Requirements

  • Sales and basic fundraising skills
  • Event Planning and Project Management skills
  • Organizational and time-management abilities

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in nonprofit development, arts administration, or marketing
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic design or CRM software
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, engage with community partners, and represent the organization professionally
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Marketing, Communications, Arts Administration, or Business) or equivalent experience preferred
