Responsibilities
- Supports the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising events and communications efforts.
- Aids the Special Events and Communications Coordinator with event logistics, donor engagement, and administrative tasks.
- Assists with communications, recordkeeping, promotional materials, and event-day operations.
- Works closely with the Development team to support the overall mission and ministry of The Salvation Army.
Qualifications
- Associates degree or 2-3 years of equivalent professional experience in events, communications, fundraising, or related field preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess good interpersonal relationship skills, including professional phone and in-person etiquette.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with data management, mail merges, and administrative processes preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and support projects of varying scale.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Pay and Schedule
- $30.00 per hour
- 40 hours/week / Non-Exempt
