Responsibilities
- Walking or patrolling the campground grounds to answer questions, enforce rules, and ensure guest safety.
- Monitoring the property for any issues or potential problems, ensuring proper security.
- Ensuring guests comply with resort rules, addressing concerns, and contacting law enforcement if needed.
- Maintaining control of the campground gate, validating guest access, performing routine patrols, inspecting golf carts and rentals, taking camping reservations, checking in/out guests, and selling day passes and items at the store.
- Prioritizing guest safety and happiness.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills, and proficiency in using computer applications.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Quick and reasonable problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically.
- Experience in security or law enforcement, or working in an RV environment, is beneficial.
- A valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
- The ability to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.

Pay
Estimated compensation for this position in the states of BC, CA, CO, IL, MA, MD, MN, NJ, NY, VT, and WA is hourly: $17.13 - $17.13. The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. In addition to the base pay and our benefits, some positions are eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
