The position offers marketing and business‑development support, access to upper management, and a responsive, high‑achieving team. Lawyers have independence to communicate with clients, develop cases, and may receive trial‑level assistance while being encouraged to try their own cases when qualified.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead counsel on day‑to‑day management of cases.
• Actively involve in case strategy, client communication, and case development.
• Collaborate with trial‑level lawyers for assistance as needed.
• Leverage the firm’s marketing and business‑development department to grow practice.
• Maintain independence while working within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of insurance defense experience, with at least 5 years practicing in Texas.
• Experience in one or more of the following defense areas: bodily injury, construction defect, professional liability, insurance coverage, bad faith, environmental, general liability, transportation, employment.
