Residential Support Staff - Full-Time, Second Shift

About the role

Provide supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents in a 42-bed treatment facility focused on substance use recovery and restorative justice.

Responsibilities

• Observe, document, and report resident behaviors
• Support residents in achieving treatment goals
• Respond to emergencies and crises
• Monitor and administer medications
• Assist with daily activities such as meal prep, housekeeping, and transportation
• Collect urine samples for urinalysis and administer breathalyzer tests
• Facilitate educational and life skills groups
• Maintain confidentiality and professional communication
• Attend trainings and meetings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background and medical clearances
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries

Preferred: experience in behavioral health or related fields, college coursework, or DHS 83 training.

Schedule

Full-time, 2nd shift position requiring standing, walking, and outdoor activities, with occasional local travel.
