About the role
Adult Residential Support Professional in a Substance Use Disorder treatment facility.
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor residents
- Provide positive role modeling
- Maintain records
- Assist with medication administration
- Support treatment goals
- Respond to emergencies
- Help with housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation
- Facilitate educational activities
- Provide basic first aid
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience or credits in social services preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and maintain confidentiality
Physical/Work Environment
- Frequent physical activity in a community-based setting
- Outdoor monitoring and potential yard work
- Moderate noise level
