About the role
Adult Residential Support Professional in a Substance Use Disorder treatment facility.
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor residents
- Document behaviors
- Assist with medication management
- Provide crisis intervention
- Support treatment plans
- Promote life skills such as meal prep and transportation
- Conduct group activities
- Perform basic first aid
- Handle housekeeping duties
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Related experience or coursework in social services preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Computer skills for documentation and communication
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and show patience and flexibility
- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
- Adhere to agency policies, maintain confidentiality, and support diversity and inclusion
- Physical ability to perform job duties in a community setting, including outdoor activities and potential travel up to 50%
- Completion of DHS 83 training (or willingness to obtain) preferred
