Residential Support Professional (53034) → Support Professional (Full-Time)

Responsibilities

• Support, supervise, and serve as a positive role model for residents
• Assist with medication monitoring and administration per policies
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation
• Prepare meals and handle light housekeeping and laundry
• Help residents develop daily living skills and achieve treatment goals
• Respond effectively to emergencies and crises
• Transport residents to appointments and community resources
• Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests as needed
• Attend staff meetings and complete required training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance recovery preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while respecting boundaries
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor with diverse populations
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

Additional Info

Training in DHS 83 preferred or to be completed post-hire. Local travel may be required (25–50%) based on program needs.
