Essential Functions
- Provide a positive emotional support and supervision to residents.
- Aid individuals in reaching their goals and improving skills for independent living.
- Incentivize and support the resident's efforts to maintain health status through hygiene, diet, exercise, rest, and coping strategies.
- Incentivize and support the resident's efforts to increase social contacts, vocational development, skill development for independent living, psychosocial rehabilitation, and access to community resources.
- Facilitate the administration of medications and complete required documentation.
- Collaborate as a member of a team.
- Safeguard quality in work performed to ensure service delivery quality.
- Comply with Sweetser health and safety policies.
- Commit to the organization's mission, vision, and values.
Position Requirements
- Valid state driver's license.
- Lived experience in Mental Health and/or Substance Abuse system encouraged.
- One (1) year of experience providing direct care and/or crisis intervention to adults in a related field.
Education Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- MHRT-I state certification or eligibility for and completion of certification within the first year of employment.
