Residential Support Counselor

Responsibilities

• Support in promoting independence
• Create a safe environment
• Provide companionship to clients in a residential home setting
• Aid clients with activities of daily living and medication administration
• Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events
• Follow each individual's care plan
• Complete required daily documentation
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications

• One year of experience working in the Human Services field
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
