About the role

The Residential Specialist- Young Adult Transitional Living (Weekends PT or PRN) is responsible for providing support and guidance to young adults in transitional living programs. This role involves facilitating daily activities, ensuring safety and security, and assisting with personal development goals.

Responsibilities

• Support young adults in developing life skills and self-sufficiency
• Facilitate daily activities such as meals, exercise, and social events
• Ensure the safety and security of residents at all times
• Assist with personal development goals including education, employment, and housing readiness
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, and external partners
• Document resident progress and communicate effectively with supervisors and families

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with young adults or in a related field
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Positive attitude and ability to maintain a calm demeanor under pressure
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

• $15.00 per hour for PT or PRN positions

Schedule

• PT: 20 hours per week
• PRN: Available on weekends and some weekdays
