About the role
The Residential Specialist - Assessment & Diagnostic Program - Weekends (PT or PRN) provides support in a residential setting for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, implementing therapeutic interventions, and providing daily living skills training.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' needs and progress
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs
- Provide daily living skills training and support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident progress and interactions
- Participate in regular supervision and feedback sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Passing scores on pre-employment drug screening and background check
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
