Residential Service Manager
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Maintenance Manager to oversee and coordinate residential service operations in the Chicago, IL area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service and maintaining efficient operational workflows to meet the needs of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality customer service and efficient operational workflows
- Oversee and coordinate residential service operations
- Supervise the day-to-day maintenance operations of the property
- Provide exceptional customer service to our residents
- Work closely with our Property Manager to maximize retention and occupancy goals
- Delegate maintenance tasks to subordinates
- Comply with all Fair Housing and OSHA laws and regulations
- Respond to emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays
- Order supplies and manage inventory control with established budgeted parameters
- Perform pro-active preventive maintenance for the property
- Aid in performance issues and reviews for the maintenance team
- Perform other duties as assigned by our Property Manager, DOM, and VPO
Requirements
- Minimum three years' experience as a Residential Maintenance Manager
- Advance knowledge of various maintenance functions and mechanicals including plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair
- Proven leadership ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Some knowledge of computer systems
- Driver’s license with reliable vehicle

Pay
Pay range is $25/hr. to $30/hr., commensurate with experience plus quarterly bonus potential
