About the role
The Residential Manager is responsible for managing a Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDS) funded group home for adults with intellectual disabilities. The role promotes residents' health and safety, community integration, and supports their pursuit of independence.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, families, and external partners.
- Oversee and train the staff team, including onboarding, trainings, 1:1 supervisions, and evaluations.
- Manage staff schedules, call-outs, and relief coverage.
- Coordinate all program operations, including administrative, financial, and regulatory tasks.
- Ensure daily client care, including medical management, skill development, and social/recreational activities.
- Complete necessary paperwork to comply with DDS regulations.
Requirements
- At least one year experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or at least five years’ experience.
- Supervisory experience, preferred.
- Flexible schedule and ability to make safe, consistent, and effective clinical decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication and conflict resolution.
- Ability to plan, organize, and evaluate residents’ goals/activities, operations, and staffing patterns.
- Pass First Aid/CPR/MAP trainings within 90 days.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle (mileage is reimbursed).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Outlook.

- $200/wk stipend for on-call rotation weeks
