Key Responsibilities
- Effectively and efficiently manage the operations of the homes assigned: ensuring all supplies, groceries, furnishings, and equipment are available and remain in good working order.
- Collaborate with the Program Managers and the Interdisciplinary TEAM (IDT) to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of the individuals residing in the home.
- Ensure staff are well trained and competent to care for and support individuals living in the home.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation by staff and management.
- Complete regular audits of the home/vehicle/equipment/supplies and ensure the safety of the environment.
- Oversee that clients' health care needs are met.
- Communicate in a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, individuals, and stakeholders.
- Establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without hands-on supervision.
- Handle and resolve recurring problems.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of successful employment working with persons with disabilities and/or behavioral health challenges.
- A valid New Mexico Driver's License and auto liability insurance.
- The ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Proficiency in the use of a personal computer and various software packages.
- A general understanding of the DD Waiver / Mi Via Waiver.
- Job-related certification(s)/trainings, as and when deemed necessary by Great Livin' LLC and/or the state of New Mexico.
- The ability to pass required background checks.
Skills Needed
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer and various software packages.
- Must have or gain a working knowledge of Therap, iSolved and other agency systems as applicable.
- Knowledge of agency positions and responsibilities, and who to go to with specific questions and/or concerns.
- Must be of good integrity and possess adequate physical, mental and emotional stability to meet job responsibilities in a safe and responsible manner.
- Must have good organizational and time management skills.
- Able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without hands-on supervision.
- Able to handle and resolve recurring problems.
