Residential Director

About the role

RISE is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing home and community-based support services for individuals with developmental and other disabilities, children with mental health challenges, and aging adults. This position is based in Salem and Eugene, Oregon, and involves overseeing multiple 24-hour group programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead through RISE’s Mission, Vision, and Values
• Demonstrate respect, promote choice, maintain confidentiality, and promote the rights of people receiving support
• Understand RISE, State, and Federal policies, procedures, and regulations
• Oversee the employment life cycle of Assistant Directors
• Mentor Assistant Directors
• Provide support in high-level concerns and work with HR as needed to determine plans of action
• Network with funding sources and other community partners
• Aid in the development and implementation of strategic plans in the Residential Department
• Review and approve Licensing Plan of Improvement documents
• Ensure compliance is maintained
• Lead the development of new program setups
• Be present in all programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field or 4 years of supervisory experience in lieu
• 2 years of experience working in a group home setting required
• 2 years of experience in department management and staff supervision required
• Knowledge of leadership practices, budgetary oversight, and resource allocation
