Residential Director

About the role

The Residential Director oversees the day-to-day operations of a respite site, including supervision of staff and ensuring the well-being of the individuals served.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Respite Peers, Respite outreach staff, and Respite direct care
• Administer administrative supervision of respite RN, monitor staff trainings and job performance
• Manage fiscal management of individual and site funds, monitor site budgets, address physical plant needs
• Act as a liaison for service providers, family and guardians, monitor the physical and emotional well-being of individuals, ensure quality of individual treatment
• On-call responsibilities for designated site(s) throughout the week and alternating weekends for the network
• Ensure all staff attend and complete cultural competency training as well as attend live training events on special populations to supplement training

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in Psychology or related field preferred
• Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle
• Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience in the human services field
• Working knowledge of community-based treatment, funding sources, and treatment regulations
• Demonstrate flexibility, leadership, ability to grow and learn, excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and ability to use an electronic health record

Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses.
