About the role
The Residential Director oversees the day-to-day operations of a respite site, including supervision of staff and ensuring the well-being of the individuals served.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Respite Peers, Respite outreach staff, and Respite direct care
- Administer administrative supervision of respite RN, monitor staff trainings and job performance
- Manage fiscal management of individual and site funds, monitor site budgets, address physical plant needs
- Act as a liaison for service providers, family and guardians, monitor the physical and emotional well-being of individuals, ensure quality of individual treatment
- On-call responsibilities for designated site(s) throughout the week and alternating weekends for the network
- Ensure all staff attend and complete cultural competency training as well as attend live training events on special populations to supplement training
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required in Psychology or related field preferred
- Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle
- Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience in the human services field
- Working knowledge of community-based treatment, funding sources, and treatment regulations
- Demonstrate flexibility, leadership, ability to grow and learn, excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and ability to use an electronic health record
