Responsibilities
- Supporting, monitoring, and serving as a positive role model for residents working toward recovery
- Assisting with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development
- Maintaining confidential client records and completing documentation
- Administering medications and responding to emergencies appropriately
- Transporting residents to appointments and community activities
- Collecting urine specimens and administering breathalyzer tests as needed
- Leading educational groups and supporting residents in achieving treatment goals
- Participating in trainings and staff meetings
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver's license preferred; must meet driving requirements
- Completion of DHS training may be required after hire
