Residential Care Worker - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Supporting, monitoring, and serving as a positive role model for residents working toward recovery
• Assisting with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development
• Maintaining confidential client records and completing documentation
• Administering medications and responding to emergencies appropriately
• Transporting residents to appointments and community activities
• Collecting urine specimens and administering breathalyzer tests as needed
• Leading educational groups and supporting residents in achieving treatment goals
• Participating in trainings and staff meetings

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Valid driver's license preferred; must meet driving requirements
• Completion of DHS training may be required after hire
