Residential Care Worker (High School Diploma OK)

About the role

Adult Residential Support Professional in a trauma-informed recovery center, providing support to adult women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants.

Responsibilities

• Support residents' recovery and monitor their well-being
• Document observations and administer medications
• Assist with daily tasks and respond to emergencies
• Facilitate activities and transport residents
• Ensure confidentiality and attend meetings and trainings
• Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services or residential care preferred
• Coursework in social work or related fields is a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license required
• DHS 83 training preferred but can be completed post-hire

Local travel may be necessary.

Pay

$17.75/hour

Schedule

2nd shift with every other weekend work.
