Residential Care Worker (High School Diploma OK)

Adult Residential Support Professional (2nd Shift) Seeking compassionate Support Professionals for a trauma-informed residential treatment program supporting adult women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants. Responsibilities include providing daily support, encouragement, and structure to help residents achieve sobriety, monitoring well-being, documenting observations, administering medications, assisting with daily tasks, and responding to emergencies. Additional duties involve transporting residents, collecting specimens, facilitating activities, and attending trainings. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with experience in human services or behavioral health preferred. Coursework in social work, psychology, or related fields is advantageous. Key skills are strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, professionalism, and the ability to work independently. A valid driver’s license is required, and DHS 83 training is preferred but can be completed post-hire. Local travel within the community may be necessary. Salary is $17.75/hour, with a schedule of 3:45 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., including every other weekend.
