Residential Care Worker (High School Diploma OK)

About the role

Adult Residential Support Professional (2nd Shift) in a trauma-informed recovery program for adult women with substance use disorders, including mothers with infants.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily encouragement and support to residents in their recovery
• Monitor residents’ well-being and document observations
• Administer medications as directed
• Assist residents with daily tasks and activities of living
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate care or intervention
• Transport residents to appointments or other necessary destinations
• Collect specimens for testing as required
• Facilitate therapeutic and recreational activities
• Attend required trainings and professional development sessions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services preferred
• Coursework in related fields is a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license required
• DHS 83 training preferred (can be completed post-hire)

Schedule

Primarily on the second shift from 3:45 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., including every other weekend. May require local travel up to 50%.

Pay

$17.75 per hour
