About the role
Seeking compassionate Support Professionals to assist residents in a trauma-informed residential treatment program for adult women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants up to 3 months old.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support, encouragement, and structure to promote recovery
- Monitor resident well-being
- Administer medications
- Assist with daily tasks
- Maintain confidentiality
- Respond to emergencies
- Support residents in achieving treatment goals
- Transport residents
- Collect urine specimens
- Facilitate life skills activities
- Attend staff meetings and trainings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
- Coursework in social work, psychology, or related fields is a plus
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable record
- DHS 83 training preferred but can be completed post-hire
