Residential Care Worker (High School Diploma OK)

Role: Adult Residential Support Professional supporting a trauma-informed recovery program for adult women with substance use disorders, including mothers with infants. Responsibilities: Provide daily support, encouragement, and structure; monitor resident well-being; document observations; assist with medication administration; help with meals, housekeeping, and daily tasks; respond to emergencies; support treatment goals; transport residents; conduct urine and breathalyzer tests; facilitate educational activities; attend staff meetings and trainings; perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; experience in human services or residential care preferred; coursework in social work or related fields advantageous; strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills; ability to work independently; valid driver’s license; DHS 83 training preferred but can be completed post-hire. Additional Details: 2nd shift hours; local travel may be required; salary is $17.75/hour; role involves working every other weekend.
