Residential Care Worker - Full-Time

Role: Adult Residential Support Professional (2nd Shift) in a trauma-informed residential treatment program for adult women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants. Responsibilities Support residents in their recovery journey through daily encouragement and structure.Monitor and document resident well-being, administer or oversee medication use.Assist with daily tasks such as meals, housekeeping, and laundry.Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation.Respond to emergencies and crises appropriately.Help residents reach treatment goals and facilitate educational or life skills activities.Transport residents to appointments and community activities.Collect urine specimens and conduct breathalyzer tests as needed.Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred.Coursework toward a related degree is a plus.Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work independently.Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.DHS 83 training preferred but can be completed post-hire. Additional Information: The role may involve local travel (up to 50%) within the community.
