Residential Care Worker - Full-Time

Role: Adult Residential Support Professional (2nd Shift) Provides compassionate support in a trauma-informed residential treatment program for adult women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants. Responsibilities Support residents' recovery through daily encouragement and structured activitiesMonitor and document resident well-being and progressAdminister or oversee medication management according to policiesAssist with meal prep, housekeeping, laundry, and daily living tasksMaintain accurate, confidential documentationRespond to emergencies and crises appropriatelyTransport residents to appointments and community activitiesCollect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as neededFacilitate educational and life skills activitiesAttend staff meetings and training sessionsPerform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GEDExperience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferredCoursework in social work, psychology, or related fields a plusStrong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and maintain professional boundariesValid driver's license with acceptable recordTraining in Fire Safety, First Aid, and Medication Administration preferred but available after hire Local travel within the community may be required. The role offers a pay rate of $17.75/hour and requires availability on the 2nd shift, including every other weekend.
