Residential Care Worker - Full-Time

Role Overview: An Adult Residential Support Professional provides compassionate support in a trauma-informed residential treatment environment for adult women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants up to 3 months old. Key Responsibilities Support and encourage residents' recovery journeysMonitor and document resident well-being and progressAdminister or oversee medication managementAssist with daily living tasks such as meals, housekeeping, and laundryMaintain confidential documentation and respond to emergenciesSupport residents' treatment goals and facilitate educational or life skills activitiesTransport residents to appointments and community activitiesConduct urine specimens and breathalyzer tests as neededParticipate in staff meetings and trainingsPerform additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED requiredExperience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferredCoursework in social work, psychology, or related fields is a plusStrong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and maintain professional boundariesValid driver's license with acceptable recordTraining in fire safety, first aid, and medication administration preferred, but can be completed after hiring Additional Details: The role involves local travel (up to 25–50%) and requires a schedule supporting 2nd shift hours.
