Residential Care Worker - Full-Time

Role: Adult Residential Support Professional (2nd Shift) Provides compassionate support in a trauma-informed residential treatment program for adult women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants up to 3 months old. Responsibilities Support residents' recovery, offering encouragement and structureMonitor and document resident well-being and responsesAdminister or oversee medication managementAssist with daily tasks such as meals, housekeeping, and laundryMaintain confidentiality and accurate documentationRespond to emergencies and crises appropriatelySupport residents in achieving treatment goals and attending appointmentsFacilitate educational and life skills activitiesTransport residents as needed and conduct urine or breathalyzer testsAttend staff meetings and trainingsPerform additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED requiredExperience in human services or residential care preferredCoursework in social work, psychology, or related fields a plusStrong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and maintain professional boundariesValid driver’s license with an acceptable recordTraining in fire safety, first aid, and medication administration preferred but can be completed post-hire Additional: Local travel may be required (up to 25–50%).
